Faith-based and family owned. Southern Lawn Designs was founded in 1991 by Bruce Gann, landscaping expert with over 36 years of experience. After running a successful landscaping business for years, Bruce and his wife Tracie saw the need for a high-quality landscape supply store. With the support of their son, Dillon, and longtime employee Wayne Long, who has been part of the team for over 24 years, Southern Lawn Designs was born.

Committed to giving back, Bruce and Tracie regularly support local schools, veterans, and organizations like Special Olympics, I-58 Foundation, and more.

As a business, we believe it is important to give back to our community. Some of the charities Owners Bruce and Tracie Gann support on a regular basis are the Special Olympics, our local Public Schools, Charter Schools and Christian schools, Optimist Club, Veterans Organizations and multiple missionaries. We are also always ready to help with local fundraising.

In addition to supporting the above charities we also set aside a portion of our profits to go directly to supporting 3 non-profit organizations that are very close to our hearts: Operation Global Impact, I-58 Missions, and Fortify.

I would give them zero stars if i could. The old dude with glasses, who is behind the counter is super rude. I will pay the extra somewhere else. I have better customer service at the senoia McDonald's. I’ll never go back and I’ll make sure I let others know.

Came out today and what a negative experience. Walked in and no one spoke, stood waiting to speak to someone and 10 minutes later was finally greeted. The gentleman acted like he didn't want to help us let alone speak. It was like pulling eye teeth to get prices and delivery information. Then they expected us to lift a birdbath in our truck and when asked about delivery was told no bc he wasn't going to make any money on the delivery. So we walked out and are taking our money elsewhere. Terrible customer service.

These guys are great! Very friendly and professional, highly recommend them if you are looking for mulch deliveries or sand/stone. They are also a BIG time Green Egg dealer, go check them out!

Great place to go get mulch for the yard! About 1/2 the price of buying the individual bags at Home Depot. Also very friendly and helpful. Make sure you pick up a pitch fork from them on your first trip. It will save you a ton of time!

The owner sold me decorative stone that I ordered extra of intentionally just in case for the contractor. The owner assured me I could bring back the surplus. Well that didn’t happen. He claimed the boxes the stone were in weren’t in good condition which was almost comical because they were pristine. I’ve also witnessed him multiple times be very condescending and argumentative with the shoppers. It’s almost like he forgot he’s in the customer service business. However his sons were very helpful anytime I have interacted with them.

We bought from here because it was close to the house compared to other places. The prices were slightly higher than other stone yards in the area but not by much, it was worth the closer drive. All the employees that i met were extremely helpful and willing except for the older gentlemen. He is extremely rude and has the personality of a brick wall. He also was not very helpful when we asked questions, very straight and to the point. No offense but if people are spending their hard earned money at a local business they should feel welcomed.
